He has over ten years experience in product marketing and product management, leading cross-functional teams to define, develop and launch over 15 new products into markets in North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. · Strategic Partnerships: Supported the strategic partnership of Digital and MasPar Corporation for entry into the high performance computing business.
· Pricing & Profitability: Developed competitive positioning and price strategy for PC server & software products for North America, Europe and Pacific rim markets.
· Tactical Marketing: Increased revenue and lead generation by planning & implementing product promotion, trade-shows, advertising, PR announcements and sales training.
· Negotiation: Supported negotiation of OEM purchase agreements with Microsoft, Intel and Seagate Technologies for NEC Technology.
· Market Research: Managed primary and secondary statistical and qualitative market research and customer surveys to develop new product and service requirements for Compaq and Kronos, Inc. Used “Voice of the Customer”, Quality Functional Deployment (QFD) and Motorola six sigma to improve product features.
· Mergers & Acquisition: Supported merger of NEC Technology and Packard Bell by leading the transition of server manufacturing from Boston to Sacramento, CA.
